The Projects page is your hub for managing all of your ongoing, past, and future recording Projects, whether they’re singles, mixtapes, EPs, or albums. Here, you can stay up-to-date with all of the Songpacts associated with each Project. The Projects are divided into:
- My Projects: Projects others are working on for you. These can be added using the ‘Adding New Project’ instructions below.
- Projects for Others: Projects you’re working on for someone else. These will be automatically added to your Projects page when a Collaborator creates the Project.
Step 1: Adding New Project
- Navigate to the Projects Page:
Go to the Projects section in the main menu to access your Projects dashboard.

2. Click ‘Add Project’:
Select the Add Project button to start creating a new Project.
3. Enter Project Details:
Fill in the following details:
- Project Name: Enter the name of the Project. You can input a working title if the final name hasn’t been decided, as this can be updated later.
- Release Date: Choose the release date of the Project. If it’s tentative, entering a provisional date is fine—you can always update this later.
- Project Type: Select the type of Project from the dropdown menu (e.g., single, mixtape, EP, album).
- Artist Name: Choose the relevant artist for the Project. If only one artist is assigned to your profile, this will be automatically filled in.
- Track Titles: Add the titles of each recording included in the Project.
- Artwork: Upload the Project artwork or another image to distinguish the Project visually.

4. Click ‘Add’:
- Once all details are filled in, click the Add button to complete the Project creation.
Step 2: Managing Existing Projects
- Access Your Projects:
From the Projects dashboard, click on the Project you want to manage.

2. Modify the Project’s details (e.g., name, release date, type, track titles, artwork).
- Edit: Modify the Project’s details (e.g., name, release date, type, track titles, artwork).
- Review: Check the Project’s associated Songpacts and their status.
- Archive: Archive the Project when it’s no longer active.
- Delete: Delete the Project if you no longer want to keep a copy of it on Songpact.
Step 3: Understanding Project Status
- ‘In Progress’ Status:
Projects with an In Progress status indicate that one or more Songpacts associated with the Project have been started but not yet fully executed.

2. ‘Complete’ Status:
The Complete status means all associated Songpacts for the Project have been fully executed.
